    • Medlife and AMSA partnered to make blankets for the homeless in Beaumont Texas. Make blankets with other members to support the community.

    • Presented my research titled “The Inspiration to Fight Food Insecurity” as a freshman.

    • Received the Mary Sheer award for Most Outstanding Research conducted in Southeast Texas and Upper Gulf Coast.

  • Handel's Messiah Choir Concert​

    • Acapella and Grand Chorus choir performed their annual Handel's Messiah concert accompanied with several soloist.​​

  • Bikes and Bibles Reaud Foundation Event (5 credit hours)

    • December 14, 2022​

    • Helped pack several items such as Bibles, clothing, sports balls, and shows into large bags to be distributed on a later date.

    • Represented Lamar University's Reaud Honors College at Nederland High School and explained the benefits of joining the program as well as college advice for incoming freshman.

  • Dinner and a Conversation with Dr. Pickard

    • February 7, 2023​

    • Attended a dinner hosted by the LU Ambassadors where Dr. Pickard, Family medicine, and Dr. Terry were available to answer questions in regards to college and medical school.

  • Extra Credit Movie Night hosted by Dr. Stanley

    • March 8, 2023​

    • Watched Animal House and discussed the technical framework behind the making of the film. 

  • Training for free summer STEM camp Innovation ColLABoration with the Texas Academy

    • April 29, 2023​

    • Will be a camp counselor, and at this training we learned the activities the students at this camp will accomplish as well as the meanings behind them.

  • Attended the 10th annual Texas Male Student Leadership Summit

    • August 10-11, 2023​

    • Represented Lamar University Hispanic Society at this conference alongside the Black Student Association members where over 300 young men of color and professionals learn valuable information such as the five pillars of Leadership, Brotherhood, Identity, Health and Wellness, and College and Career Readiness.

    • Also, breakout sessions taught the value of stereotypes and how to combat them which restructured my mindset to continue pursuing my career without falling to imposter syndrome.

  • Homeless Run with Helping Hands Club

    • 6:00 am - 10:00 am

    • Prepared breakfast burritos and snack packs to be distributed to the homeless community around the Beaumont area.

  • Ambassador Event in the President's Suite

    • ​​Incarnate Word University vs. Lamar University

    • Mingled with alumni, hall of honor recipients, and other invitees of the College of Arts and Sciences after escorting them to their designated location. 

  • Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) for Lamar Undergraduate Research Association

    • ​November 8, 2023

    • ​As Secretary of LURA, I attended this workshop with Dr. Kirienko, Associate professor at Rice University who spoke about applying for research opportunities at Rice in their diverse fields of study during a 10 week program.

    • Communicated with interested members for research at Rice as well as possibilities at Lamar such as the Undergraduate Research Grant and Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in the Summer.

  • Fall Into Action at Market to Hope

    • November 18, 2023​

    • Arranged baskets of food to be delivered to curbside pickup by vehicles. Runner for this event by going back and forth filling up the cars and returning the cars. 

  • Ambassador Event in the President's Suite

    • November 18, 2023​

    • McNeese vs. Lamar University (Battle of the Borders)

    • Mingled with College of Education and Human development donors, alumni, volunteers, and Reaud Honors College Advisory Board. Guaranteed guests had a good time and a facilitated sign in to the president's suite.
